Spa Krapinske Toplice is located in the Krapina-Zagorje county, which lies in the northeastern part of Croatia. The capital of the county is Krapina. Spa Krapinske Toplice is located approximately 14 kilometers to the south from Krapina. Currently, just over 5700 inhabitants live in the town of Krapinske Toplice.

Spa Krapinske Toplice is not very large thermal baths; more well-known spa of Tuheljske Toplice lies approximately 8 miles away. Local springs reach temperatures to 40 degrees Celsius and supply a total of five indoor and three outdoor swimming pools. Some pools with thermal water are used for recreational purposes and are freely available to the general public.

Treatments in this spa are particularly represented by various baths and mud wraps. The water is ideal for the treatment of rheumatism, neurological and cardiovascular diseases. Thermal water is particularly rich in calcium and magnesium.

Treatments has been taking place in this spa complex since Roman times. The origin of the spa as it is today, however, dates back to the 19th century.

The decoration of the small town of Krapinske Toplice is filled with the splendid Church of the Holy Trinity located in the city center. Also the nice chapel of Mary Magdalene and small mausoleum are must-see.
